Integrative Practices

Healing lives in the body, too.

If you’re curious about supporting your nervous system through movement, breath, and mindfulness, our integrative offerings are designed to complement therapeutic work in a grounded, embodied way.

At Freedom Counseling & Yoga in Naples, Florida, integrative practices are often used alongside individual therapy and trauma therapy to support regulation, presence, and a deeper sense of safety in the body.

Yoga (Individual & Group)

Yoga sessions are grounded in nervous-system safety, mindfulness, and gentle strength rather than performance or pushing limits.

Offerings may include:

  • Individual therapeutic yoga sessions

  • Small group yoga classes

  • Trauma-informed movement practices

These sessions are designed to support regulation, embodiment, and connection, and may be especially helpful for clients also engaged in somatic therapy or ongoing individual counseling.

Mindfulness & Meditation (Individual & Group)

Mindfulness and meditation offerings support emotional awareness, grounding, and nervous-system regulation.

Sessions may focus on:

  • Breath awareness

  • Body-based mindfulness

  • Emotional integration

  • Cultivating steadiness and presence

These practices are woven in ways that feel accessible and supportive, and may complement work in trauma-informed therapy or EMDR therapy.
